Duties include: the manufacture and testing of finished goods; directing production technicians; complying with the procedures and processes of an ISO9001:2000 facility; involvement in the technical support of customers; defining and resolving product complaints; participating in constant process improvement exercises.

This position requires a BS in chemistry or a BA. with a chemistry major. Analytical chemistry experience or 2 years of practical experience preferred.

Physical requirements include:

Occasional: Sitting, standing, pulling and/or pushing, stooping, crouching and crawling. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Frequent: Climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, grasping and reaching.

Constant: Color determination, near acuity, speaking, and listening.

Mental requirements include:

General, verbal and numerical intelligence, motor coordination skills, and coordination of eyes, hands and feet.

Environmental requirements include:

Occasional heat and cold with frequent noise conditions, injury exposures and atmospheric exposures. Exposure to chemicals.
